As your default SMS app, Flow Threads reads, sends and receives SMS and MMS through Android's messaging system. Messages are stored on your device by Android and are never uploaded by Flow Threads.
Flow Threads reads your contacts to show names and photos and to pick recipients. Contacts never leave your device.
Flow Threads sends anonymous app-open and session events and an anonymous app-instance ID to Google Firebase Analytics. It never sends your messages, numbers or contacts, and it does not use the advertising ID. Turn this off in Flow Threads settings > appearance > privacy.
